EMPOWER is a series of three portraits of sex workers with heterogeneous trajectories crossing paths of migration, Trans identities, feminism, the fight against HIV, the fight against precariousness and discrimination. Interweaving personal journeys, political analysis, and strategies of collective resistance, Aying, Giovanna Murillo Rincon, and Mylène Juste demand for the rights of minorities. Far from the objectification often at work in documentaries, EMPOWER is a tribute to the voices of sex workers through an active collaboration in production with the protagonists.

After the first chapter of their demented adventures with “the furniture-man”, besties Romy and Laure move in together with their friend Elisa and Titi, the curious cat. One day, a shiny new butt plug mysteriously appears at their door. Its sexual power may be dangerous – will they be able to resist its extraordinary appeal? Romy Alizée & Laure Giappiconi return with THE MYSTERY OF THE ENCHANTED PLUG their second “fotonovel” short film, a fairy tale for grown ups... and for Titi too!

The voiceover weaves subjective impressions and historical facts into a dense narrative of life with – and about – the whales in these regions. The film reflects on subsistence farming, biodiversity, and endangered marine mammals.

The measure of drowning is an ecosexual fable about breathing better even when drowning, finding ways to resist the collapse of life and re-nourishing desires.
