Lampsi is one of the most popular series on Greek television. It was broadcast for more than 14 years by the Greek television station ANT1 nearly every day. This TV series was played on Greek television station ANT1 and began broadcasting on 16 September 1991 and the last episode was broadcast on 29 July 2005. In total 3,457 episodes were broadcast in 14 years. The script was written by Nikos Foskolos and on the filming of the episodes directors were Nikos Foskolos, Spyros Foskolos and other five directors. All the actors and the actresses, who were performed roles on TV series, were 1.500 who were already well-known or became well-known from their acting careers on the TV series.
A young priest and professor of theology upsets a small town upon his arrival. Apart from charm, however, it also hides secrets. No one knows the real reason it is there. This is a series of stand-alone comedy episodes on the theme of infidelity. Each episode deals with a different type of "cuckold" man and how he reacts to his wife's infidelity. The connecting link of all the stand-alone episodes is the "ghost" couple, Eva - Theophilos. After their death, they are given a second chance at life as long as they win a bet. Eva will have to break up more couples than Theophilos can keep together. Their fights are proverbial and in order to achieve their goal, they find inventive ways to get involved in the lives of the "cuckold" heroes and turn them upside down...!
As Georgios Vizneyos, one of Greece's greatest authors, degenerates in an Athens mental asylum, the tale of another story-teller, his grandfather, begins to emerge through his mad ramblings. This lavish film recreates (through his own words) the writer's childhood life, rich with fantasy and legend. Apprenticed to a tailor, young Georgios' mind is filled with his grandfather fairy tales. He ponders the hill from which one can climb into the sky and waits each day for the chance to bring clothes to the princess and win her heart through song. But, just as reality begins to germinate doubt in his mind, Georgios is called home to his ailing grandfather, who will reveal one final, true story that may prove to be the most fantastic of all.

The main theme of the series is the way in which a person is led to murder while each story in the series combines elements of drama, social stories and thrillers. The duration of each episode is 45 minutes and is in the form of a psychograph. While the stories in the series are based on real events that have preoccupied public opinion, their dramatization has undergone some changes.

Every action causes a reaction. Family dramas, love affairs of loyalty and infidelity, serial killers, crimes of honor, passion, revenge, punishment, necessity.
The series is based on real events. It takes us to Kythera from 1906 to 1909 and chronicles one of the largest mass murders the country has ever known. There, we meet the central figure of the story, Antonis, a peaceful shoemaker. A lovable young man, until he is unjustly slandered. The outcry of the local community forces him to leave. He makes a new start in Piraeus. Again, however, his attempt to escape falls on deaf ears. History repeats itself in the big city, filling Antonis with bitterness and anger. Now, there is only one way left for him: Revenge.
