A Polish criminalist specialises in various historical mysteries. He is aided by a miraculous car, with the help of which he also reaches Prague, where he unravels ancient cabalistic mysteries.

The cheerful farce tells the story of the charming wife of an Andalusian shoemaker, a charming beauty who attracts the eyes of a crowd of cavaliers. The beautiful woman is more than thirty years younger than her husband, but she is quarrelsome, argumentative and, above all, dissatisfied. Despite this, she remains faithful to her good-natured husband, many years older. However, he mainly desires peace, and, carried away by gossip, one day leaves his wife. He returns as a principal with a puppet theater to find that his wife has remained faithful to him, both spouses are convinced that they were wrong and return to each other...

Three "miniatures" touching on romantic relationships between men and women from different perspectives. Matěj, a young vegetable garden guard and lover of idleness and village women, spends the night in the grass with Agáta, the wife of a switchman, even though he is not particularly interested in the unsatisfied woman. Voloďa, a young man growing up without a father, is confused about his feelings for the married thirty-year-old Míša, who seduces him on a whim and then rejects him. The hunter with a "free spirit" refuses to spend even a single day with his unhappy village wife, whom the mayor (who first got him drunk) married him to years ago out of envy for his shooting skills.

In the Round Kingdom, Prince Emanuel lives with the nickname Bečka, which he did not get by chance. His greatest passion is food. The queen decides to marry the prince. The chubby princess Emilka is presented to him as a bride, but Prince Bečka falls in love with the completely slim princess Anna. Emilka cannot let this go and uses magic to turn Anna into a budgie, a small bird. The prince mourns for his beloved princess, does not eat and loses weight. Will he be able to overcome the evil spell and win his beloved Anička as his wife? Today's fairy tale will answer that.

A documentary about the unique discovery of the long-lost Vivaldi opera Argippo. Antonio Vivaldi's Argippo was originally composed for a Prague debut in 1730. Lost for centuries, the opera's score was discovered by the young Czech conductor Ondřej Macek. Almost as remarkable as the discovery of this lost masterpiece was the process of recreating the work. Dan Krames' film observes, gloriously, the gradual birth of the modern-day world premiere of Argippo and the search for an authentic Baroque interpretation of it. It confirms the genius of Argippo, the most significant opera "written for Prague" before Mozart's Don Giovanni.
