Biography
Finn Walther is a film director and graduate of the Norwegian TV and Film School in Lillehammer, Norway. In addition to directing several award-winning short films, he has a background as a documentary screenwriter, cinematographer and editor. In 2019, he co-founded the film production company Walther Bros with his brother, filmmaker Martin A. Walther.
Known For

Robert moves from the Polish countryside to work on a fish processing factory on the coast of Norway. There he falls in love with Ivar who is openly gay and a member of the workers union. Robert is hiding his sexual orientation from the other Polish immigrant workers. When Ivar helps the Polish to start a strike for better working conditions at the factory, Robert has to choose between money or love.

On 12 March 2020, Norway was shut down as a result of the government's covid-19 restrictions. This had disastrous consequences for several of us, but vulnerable groups were particularly hard hit. The film allows the viewer to take part in the everyday life of a group of people who had a very difficult time in the beginning and who struggle extra hard now.
