Ali Miri

Adapted from a story in 1001 Nights, the story concerns the death of an actor and the comical incidents that occur as different people come into possession of, and attempt to dispose of, his body.

Rana (Puri Banai) and her father (Ezzatullah Voshoq) meet Ali Surchi (Mohammad Ali Bandani). Jabbar (Gholamreza Sarkoob) is in love with Rana, but Rana marries Ali without her father's knowledge. Ali is taken out of town by Jabbar's friend (Jamshid Narsi) and Farangis (Farangis Forouhar) and is stabbed to death by Jabbar. When Rana's father finds out that his daughter is pregnant, he dies of a fit of rage. Rana pawns her father's inherited house to a broker (Mohsen Arasteh) and keeps Ali's car as a keepsake, And with the help of Sadeq (Seyed Ali Miri), she raises her son Ali (Mohammad Reza Fazeli). Years later, Jabbar spreads rumors that Ali is an illegitimate child; but Farangis reveals the matter of Ali's murder to her son. Farangis is killed by Jabbar, and after Ali kills Jabbar and his friend, he kidnaps his daughter Leila (Nazanin). Ali's mother chases them, and Ali falls under the wheels of a cart and is finally arrested by the police.

Manouchehr and Ahmad are the creators of advertising teasers and do not come home some nights. Their wives, who are suspicious of their husbands, pretend to be two foreign actresses and go to the advertising agency and ask to play in commercials.

Ali gets a job and, by dint of dedication and patience, achieves a significant promotion and ends up becoming the manager of the company, as well as winning Meltem's love. However, this is not to the liking of his cousin Cihangir and his father, who instead are totally broke and want to get their revenge on Ali.

Setareh (Forozan) is the singer of a cheerleading group. Mahmoud (Abdullah Butimar), who has become Setareh's admirer, provides her and her friends with a luxurious house and invites them to perform at a large nightclub. A young student named Masoud (Taqi Mokhtar) expresses his interest in Setareh, despite her parents' opposition. Mehdi spreads rumors that Kazem was killed due to Kamal's conspiracy and that he intends to seize Kazem's ship.
