In a Castilian convent of the late nineteenth century, the community of cloistered nuns celebrates the onomastic of their superior with a poem. She is also visited by the doctor, Don Jose, who diagnosed a disease with poor prognosis. Shortly after a sister picks up a beautiful girl who has been abandoned at the door of the convent and the doctor, despite being single, offers to legally adopt her and assign her to the convent as a pupil.
A bunch of unscrupulous men make havoc of a tribe of Indians to take their land. A survivor of the massacre decides to avenge his people by killing the whole bunch one by one.
A mature man habitually pursues young girls, for which he is abandoned by his wife. The devil intervenes, offering both spouses, separately, to regain their youth. The two agree to make up for the lost years, but the devil makes them both join the same gang for a summer. The husband, who now feels comfortable, falls in love with his wife again without recognizing her, just as she will not recognize her ex.
