After a heavy decision, Anna and Juhan are unable to move on with their lives. They take time off at their friends' fancy summer house and once there, are forced to offer shelter to another couple caught in the storm. The couple assumes that the house belongs to Anna and Juhan and they do nothing to correct the mistake. Instead, they seize their new roles and start taking their mutual bitterness out on the strangers.

A group of drop-outs, losers and criminals are travelling in a stolen Mercedes seemingly aimlessly along numerous derelict houses and impassable roads to eventually end up on an old decaying state farm in Crimea, the southern tip of the former Soviet Union, where the mother, wife and daughter of one of them live. Soviet Lithuania, 1975. Fishermen kiss their wives goodbye. They are going off to sea to catch fish on the faraway Atlantic coasts of Africa. The boat is going to be their home for the next five months.

An old hermit and would be botanist tries to catch a mythical creature who lives in the forest to add to his exclusive collection.

Thirty-year old guy is assaulted on the street. Randomly, in the middle of a day. The emotional damage hurts him more than the punches taken. This is a new experience for him. The guy tries to sort things out between justice, revenge and a bit of shame. Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the story there are guys that did the beating. They practice first-punch knockouts. And they helpfully carry their mothers’ food bags in the evening.
