The sky draws circles on the water. What does it mean when illness suddenly shrinks your radius to the size of a duck pond? An essay about loss and the healing world of dreams, in which a swan accompanies us to the cinema.

What does it mean to be your parents' daughter? - Being the protagonists of their own film, three filmmakers ask themselves this particular question. The setup: one camera, three settings and three encounters with at least one parent, discussing something so essential, it can hardly be put into words: at times brutally honest, at times lost for words, their encounter will show the difference in each child -parent experience as well as its impact on the individual. The artificial setting is opening up room for dialogues on family trauma, the fear of growing apart and the moral certainty that death will inevitably end the relationship.

Filmmaker Stella Traub accompanies her little brother during his last four weeks in their former home village. He wants to go to Berlin, catch up on his A-levels, study - while he spends his last summer days with the friends he will leave behind, the filmmaker wonders whether she herself has ever arrived. A suitcase, ships on the Neckar and the question of whether and how one can leave a precarious social background behind.

"At the end of the rainbow you will find a treasure – it will completely change your life.“ Whoever tries to find the end of the rainbow will realise things are not that easy - the end of the rainbow is not a fixed point. Also, Yusuf, Ritah and William had to make this experience in their lives – just like many LGBT* refugees. The film tells the story of their journey. A journey from Uganda to Germany, a story of violence, hope, disappointments, and everyone's personal rainbow.
