Vicky Stavropoulou plays the ghost of a woman who, invisible to ordinary mortals, watches, narrates and intervenes for good in various family affairs starring mothers-in-law with many different characters.

Arbitrary! Two families who coincidentally have the same name and live in the same apartment building. One is headed by a failed lawyer, Andreas Hatzigiorgis, who is supported by his wealthy wife, while the other is headed by a restaurateur who harasses his employees, Kostas Hatzigiorgis. The two families are often at odds as one wants to destroy the other, creating unspeakable situations.

The series takes place in a TV station, where two men (the station's best reporters) want the same woman. This woman happens to be married to one of them, but that doesn't matter much since she wants both of them too...

The Haritou family's ancestral home was initially inhabited only by the unmarried youngest daughter, Irini. However, in the first episode of the series, her older and widowed sister, Olga, moves into the same house until the construction of the new house she is building is completed. Although initially they thought that her move would be temporary, it eventually became permanent for the entire series. At the turn of the twentieth century a young merchant is abducted by a group of brigands who are sheltered in a remote mountainous area of Greece aiming to extract ransom from his wealthy family. The young man develops a kind of sympathy to the arch-brigand and realizes that the underground life and moral code of his kidnappers actually represent a more genuine expression of “New Hellenism” than his bourgeois well-being.

A traveling theatre troupe tours the Greek countryside from 1939 to the early 1950s, staging “Golfo the Shepherdess”. As the years pass, its members endure persecution, betrayal, executions, and exile. Their personal stories become entangled with the country’s major historical events, in a seemingly endless cycle of violence and loss.

Eliza works for a large insurance company, but her "secret" desire is to work in cinema, regardless of her specialty. In the boredom of everyday life and a rather indifferent life, Eliza juxtaposes her imagination, which has been fueled by endless hours in movie theaters or in front of the video. Her generally unsuccessful attempts to transfer elements and situations from movies and their corresponding heroines to her daily life, provoke laughter and emotion.

Petros is a gay archaeologist who experiences the naked Greek paranoia in the center of Athens. Either by choice or coincidence, he comes into contact with people who are "different": An Arab immigrant, who comes to Greece, a land of "infidels", determined to conquer it by any means; A Greek-French cello player, who is burdened by the agony of her alcoholic mother; A young Albanian pianist, who carries the curse of his own personal genius and divinity; A Greek immigrant, who was repatriated but now has nowhere to call home; A bank director, who believes everything can be bought, even love; A patrolman, who creates his own version of socio-political reality. Petros' contact with these people is in fact a traumatic experience. For each encounter he has to pay a price. Sometimes the price is material, while other times it's emotional. At times it is both.
