Maddie Gwinn is a first-time filmmaker from Seattle, USA. After graduating from Chapman University and Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, her award-winning thesis about cultural movements under ex-communist societies with the Czech National Film Archive led her to the Balkans where she currently lives as a resident of Kosovo. Maddie is passionate about observing youth culture through a geopolitical lens and strives to be a bridge between American and European film industries.
