A drama set in the American South, where a precocious, troubled girl finds a safe haven in the music and movement of Elvis Presley.
After inexplicably surviving a plane crash, TV station worker Denise tries to get on with her life. She soon learns that she was actually supposed to die in the crash. Death refuses to be cheated and starts sending its minions, people that have recently died, to collect her.
