Biography
Biplab Dasgupta (26 September 1950 – 24 April 2026) was a Bengali Indian actor and elocutionist, known for his roles in Srijit Mukherji films such as 'Baishey Shraban', 'Zulfiqar', and 'Gumnaami'. Dasgupta had also earned acclaim in series like 'Chemistry Mashi', 'Jogomaya and Checkmate', 'Bosepukure Khunkharapi', among others.

Ek Mutho Chabi is a Bengali feature-film released in September 2005. As the name suggests, the movie does not tell one continuous story over 90 minutes; rather it's a compilation of six different stories combined together, all of around 20–25 minutes duration. All directed by different directors.
