51-year-old Sakurako Sato is a single, poor woman who works for a home care service. When she was young, her father failed in business and evaporated, leaving her with a large debt. She has raised her younger sister, Umeko and has reached this age without a single happy memory of love or fun. In addition, Sakurako has a very poor appearance, and children in the neighborhood make fun of her, calling her "Frankenwoman," which makes her despicable to others. While taking care of Tamura, a wealthy old man she is visiting, Sakurako meets a handsome boy named Ryuji. Sakurako falls in love with him at first sight. When it is eventually discovered that Ryuji is in debt and is being threatened by yakuza gangsters, Sakurako struggles to raise money to help him by working at night at a cabaret club for mature women.

Kazuhiko, a graduate of a prestigious university, wasn't enjoying his life, until he takes a job at a bathhouse. Then he discovers that the baths are used as a space for killing people after closing hours.

TV producer Kei and her recently retired comedian boyfriend Yoshi are working to conceive their first child as they consider marriage approaching mid-thirties—a process complicated by the fact that Kei has continued taking contraceptives. Annoyed by Yoshi relaxing into domestic life and slacking off at his part-time job, Kei has finally worked around her male colleagues’ obstruction to spearhead an innovative web series guest hosted by rotating everyday people. She invites Shiori, a young trans man working for her office’s delivery service and moonlighting as a bartender at an LGBTQ-inclusive space, to kick off the program. However, as Kei pushes forward, she reaches a breaking point.

A special investigative unit called FCIN investigates real-life murders and disappearances by writing up fictional worlds you can enter with a special key. When one of the investigators is murdered by someone in one of these fictional worlds, a young woman named Midori gets caught up in the case.

One month after total offensive on the monster which suddenly appeared, the body drifted down to the beach in a local town. The marine biologist, Nagamine was summoned to research the body and eventually knew the mayor and the government officials were planning to build a storage facility covering the monsters body in the beach. Is the monster really dead? Nagamine had doubt. Considering to build the facility near town was too dangerous, he suggested to abort the plan Tangling of political axes to grid by the government and the local authority, Nagamine find himself to struggle to abort the plan with the town people.
