When the director succumbs to a mysterious paralysis, leaving the film unfinished, João is left to navigate the unfolding chaos. She faces unanswerable questions, not only about the film's future but also about her own connection to Liberada’s spirit and story.

Os Amigos do Gaspar: Uma Reunião na Cidade, a musical film that revisits, more than thirty years later, the children’s programme that marked the imagination of a generation, bringing back iconic characters from the series created by João Paulo Seara Cardoso and Jorge Constante Pereira. Involving members of the original team and new actors, this film project is the result of research and restoration work on the original puppets carried out throughout 2022, with the involvement of the series’ authors.
