It tells the compelling story of Ali Akyüz's educational journey, which began in a village school in the Of district of Trabzon, and continued through Trabzon High School to Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, where he became one of the pioneers of Turkish medicine. Ali Akyüz, who taught and practiced medicine in the Department of General Surgery at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine for 42 years, was one of the first to introduce endoscopic surgery to Türkiye in the 1980s. Akyüz, who traveled to England at his own expense and received training, guided the nationwide expansion of treatment facilities in the region.

After working in Germany for many years, the 80-year-old Hasan returns to Turkey and moves in to his old wooden house in the highlands with his cow and calf. Hasan’s son Erdoğan, who works in Germany, ailing a serious disease and his last wish is to spend a few nights in the wooden house, falling into sleep listening to the sounds of the wind. Hasan, who has neglected his son in the past, gets to work on his son’s wish and prepares a room for him. He races against time and after finishing his preparations starts waiting for his son’s arrival.

The film tells the story of the regular visits that the legendary Russian ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev made to Turkey between 1980 and 1990.

In the mid-1920s, Cevat Şakir, also known as Halikarnas Balıkçısı, was sentenced to death for an article he wrote in a magazine and was exiled to Bodrum. Instead of rotting in prison, he took a step towards a new life with the helping hand extended by the district governor. He left his past behind and made his name forgotten.
