ECW was a professional wrestling television program for WWE, based on the independent Extreme Championship Wrestling promotion that lasted from 1992 to 2001. The show's name also referred to the ECW brand, in which WWE employees were assigned to work and perform, complementary to WWE's other brands, Raw and SmackDown. It debuted on June 13, 2006 on Sci Fi in the United States and ran for close to four years until it aired its final episode on February 16, 2010 on the rebranded Syfy. It was replaced the following week with WWE NXT.

WWE Velocity was a professional wrestling television program produced by World Wrestling Entertainment. It replaced two syndicated WWE shows, Jakked/Metal. Once a weekly Saturday night show on Spike TV and on Sky Sports 2 in the UK on Sunday mornings, Velocity became a webcast from 2005 to 2006. The newest episode would be uploaded to WWE.com on Saturdays and be available for the next week. Older webcast episodes were also archived. It was the counterpart show to WWE SmackDown and WWE Raw and was recorded before the television taping of SmackDown. Royal Rumble (2002) was the fifteenth annual Royal Rumble PPV. It was presented by Square's Final Fantasy X. It took place on January 20, 2002 at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The main event was the Royal Rumble match. The other matches were Chris Jericho versus The Rock for the Undisputed WWF Championship, Ric Flair versus Vince McMahon in a Street Fight, Edge versus William Regal for the WWF Intercontinental Championship, the team of Spike Dudley and Tazz versus the Dudley Boyz for the WWF Tag Team Championship, and Trish Stratus versus Jazz for the WWF Women's Championship.

Children's author Dorothy Gale makes a decent living continuing her grandfather's series of Oz books. When a new agent enters the scene, Dorothy moves to New York city. In the midst of a major business deal for her books, Dorothy discovers that her books are not based on her imagination, but on repressed memories. While Dorothy struggles with the revelation, she is forced to confront The Wicked Witch of the West, who has descended upon the Big Apple, determined to settle an old score.

Vengeance (2006) was a PPV which took place on June 25, 2006 at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was the sixth annual Vengeance event. The event starred wrestlers from the Raw brand. The card featured two main events which resulted in Rob Van Dam defending the WWE Championship against Edge and D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) fighting the Spirit Squad (Kenny, Johnny, Mitch, Nicky, and Mikey) in a 5-on-2 Handicap match. One bout was featured on the undercard. In which John Cena competed against Sabu in an Extreme lumberjack match, which featured superstars from the Raw and ECW brands at ringside.

ECW One Night Stand (2005) was a professional wrestling PPV event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It was held on June 12, 2005 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, New York.The main event was a tag team match between The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von) and the team of Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman. Two of the matches on the undercard were Chris Benoit versus Eddie Guerrero, and Mike Awesome versus Masato Tanaka. Rob Van dam, who had proposed the idea to Vince McMahon, could not compete due to injury but would go on to headline the 2006 event against John Cena.

WrestleMania X8 was the eighteenth annual WrestleMania PPV and was presented by Sour Skittles. It took place on March 17, 2002 at the SkyDome in Toronto, Ontario. As the nWo continues their crusade against the WWF, wrestling's past meets wrestling's future when the People's Champion, the Rock, meets Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Meanwhile, Tripe H faces the greatest challenge of his career when he challenges Chris Jericho for the Undisputed Championship, with his vengeful ex-wife Stephanie McMahon in Jericho's corner.

Survivor Series (2001) was the fifteenth annual Survivor Series PPV and was presented by Microsoft's Xbox. It took place on November 18, 2001 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. This PPV marked the end of The Invasion angle. The main event was a 10 Man Elimination Tag Team Match featuring The Rock, Chris Jericho, Kane, The Big Show and The Undertaker vs. Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Booker T and Shane McMahon Several titles were put on the line in unification matches. The WWF Intercontinental/WCW U.S. Title had Edge vs. Test, the WWF/WCW Tag Team Titles were unified in a Steel Cage match with The Dudley Boyz vs. The Hardy Boyz, the WWF European Title was defended by Christian vs. Al Snow, and there was an "Immunity Battle Royal" to get protection from being fired by which-ever brand came out on top.
