Yoshi

A miniseries starring famous actresses, based on the short story collection "Tsubasa no Oreta Tenshitachi" by the author Yoshi. This dark drama has a different story for each episode, as the name of the series "Angels With Broken Wings" hints, the common theme is women who have lost their way in life. The series touches subjects like prostitution, peer pressure, gambling, theft and isolation.

Ayu has lost the meaning of life after she has been working as a prostitute. However, her cold life change when she meets Yoshiyuki whom she wants to help with his heart problems. The two love each other, but Yoshiyuki's father doesn't allow their feelings. Ayu goes back to prostituting only to help Yoshiyuki earn money for his operation.

Rina is the it girl. She is thin, has long hair, is flaunting and dresses attractively. Every man wants to be with her and every woman wants to be like her. She also happens to be self-absorbed, mean and nasty.

Akira was a sax player in New York, but retired from it because of his wife's sudden death. One day, Akira Agawa met Yui Uehara, a young woman who works for the cleaning station, and eventually reunited in New York. Since then, they have opened up their hearts and are gradually attracted to each other.

Ayu, a young prostitute has lived a meaningless life until she met a young boy named Yoshiyuki. They met when an old lady who taught her the meaning of life passed away, only briefly telling her of her grandson, Yoshiyuki. Knowing that the old lady wished only to see her grandson but is unable to grant the old lady her wish, Ayu then thought that she could take care of Yoshiyuki for her. Ayu and Yoshiyuki, despite his heart problems and her dark past love each other to the fullest. However, life wasn't easy for the both of them. Yoshiyuki's father forbids their relationship and kept them away from each other. But Ayu sacrificed herself by becoming a prostitute once again to earn money for Yoshiyuki's operation and to keep her promise to the old woman who changed her life.
