Two best friends work in a coffee shop, the Caffè Cozy. Mawena is the manager, and she's under a lot of pressure from her superiors to achieve results. Alex is a student and has a happy-go-lucky attitude, oblivious to the workings of the company. But today, Alex arrives late and Mawena is a little stressed out.

Anouk, an outgoing actress with a strong personality who has not earned the success she feels she deserves, and Sima, a quiet, hard-working student who is a devout Muslim, live across the hall from one another but have nothing in common.
