Police officers Delon and Lemieux learn of a grisly murder in the Boston camp and team up to investigate. After originally airing on Czechoslovakian television in 1983 as a four-part 226-minute mini-series, this production received a 163-minute theatrical release in 1984.
New husband Adam reluctantly takes a job with state security in a totalitarian country, thus becoming a secret police agent. This "contract with the devil" helps secure a flat for the happy couple, as well as a prosperous future. However, he soon finds out that he too is under surveillance.
The heroes of the story are animals and it takes place in the environment of a stunt farm. Victoria, a young and talented mare, is brought here just as the farm's existence is beginning to be threatened. She can only be saved by the outstanding performance of the animals at an audition for an upcoming film. Smart Victoria, who finds everything she learns engaging and fun, makes new friends on the farm. But she also encounters envy, cowardice and hostility from competitors, as well as people who threaten the farm. The animal inhabitants of the farm, regardless of race, must join forces, overcoming many dangers and adventurous peripetias to help their friends - the stuntmen.
