Through the points of view of the six people closest to him, the story of the unsolved murder of Mexican TV host Paco Stanley in 1999 is revealed behind the scenes where fame, betrayal and excess point to different suspects.

Cindy, a sharp and restless teenager, grows up happily in the high society of San Pedro Garza García in Nuevo León. When she and her longtime friends enter coeducational high school for the first time, Cindy questions the role of "princess" and the search for "prince charming" she's always been taught. In her freshman adventures, Cindy learns that pleasing others doesn't matter as much as finding herself.

Leopoldo returns to his hometown motivated by the woman he was in love with 25 years ago. Simultaneously, Esteban, his teenage son, travels to the beach with his high school classmates, where he will strive to fit into a group that is hostile to him. Both must confront themselves to achieve what they believe will make them happy.

This is not another standard biopic about Frida Kahlo. “Two Fridas” is a poetic film, based on the relation between the Mexican painter and the Costa Rican nurse Judith, who took care of Frida during the final years of her life.

Carolina and Elsa, two friends of 10 and 13 years old who live in the same housing unit, enjoy a childhood full of mischief, video recordings and pop music in the nineties.
