The Great White Tower

Ayumu Miyamoto (Yosuke Sugino) is a young orthopedic surgeon. He goes back to his hometown in Nagano Prefecture and begins to work at the general hospital there. In addition to working as an orthopedic surgeon, he is ordered to join the mountain medical treatment team. The team provides treatment for patients who became sick or injured while in the mountains. The medical team members need to have knowledge about both the mountain and medicine. They are called mountain doctors because of this. Ayumu Miyamoto is not passionate about his duties on the mountain medical team. Things change as he works more with the team members. Meanwhile, Gakuto Emori (Nao Omori) is a circulatory physician who works at the same hospital and is a member of the medical treatment team. Although Gakuto Emori does his job well, he has trauma from his past that he tries to overcome.

‘Let Snow Man Do It’ (Sore Snow Man ni Yarasete Kudasai) is a variety programme produced by TBS Television. Its abbreviated title is ‘Sore Suno’. As Snow Man’s first programme in which they served as hosts, it was initially broadcast as a special programme during TBS’s late-night slot. It subsequently became a regular programme, with all 47 episodes streamed on the video-on-demand service Paravi every Friday night from 24 April 2020 to 2 April 2021. From 11 April 2021, the programme moved to TBS and has been broadcast regularly every Sunday from 13:00 to 13:30 (JST).

It airs Fridays at 8pm on TV Asahi and usually has 5-8 J-Pop artists and groups as guests on each show. The two hosts: タモリ (Tamori) and Hironaka Ayaka chat with each artist for a couple minutes before they hit the stage and perform their latest song. The show also runs specials from time to time, along with a yearly 3+ hour (now 4) live performance bonanza around Christmas time called MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE. The show also features Ward E. Sexton as the english announcer voice for introducing the guests and announcing the CD Single Hit Ranking (usually every week) and CD Album Hit Ranking (usually every month). Sexton is known for providing voice over to the Resident Evil (called Bio Hazard in Japan) video game series.

One day he returns from Tokyo to Bangkok and reunites with Kai whom he had feelings for when they were students. Kai is active as a photographer and also pursuing music when they reunite. This makes Sota a bit nervous. Kai, however, is surprised that Sota recalls the 'unfinished song' he once sang for him. The duo slowly grow closer once again, but each have a secret as to why they can't complete the song. Yet this unfinished song connecting the two of them begins to resonate with both once again!
