Mita Sakura is considered to be weird by her colleagues at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, because she voluntarily works in the unidentified bodies department. About 20,000 unidentified bodies exist in the country and Mita Sakura works on returning these unknown deceased people to their families. She has a colleague, Tsukimoto Makoto, who works in the same department. They are totally opposite in terms of their personalities and interests. Mita Sakura is bright and warm-hearted, but Tsukimoto Makoto is calm and cold-hearted. They do share the same desire to return these unidentified bodies to their families. To find the identities of these deceased people, they rely on the few clues that are left behind on them.

Since then, even though he doesn't know her name or what she looks like, Kurata Sui has fallen in love with the air traffic controller just by listening to her voice.

Yui Saizo is a single, 29 year old woman and works in the crime laboratory at the Takanashi Police Station as a forensics examiner. She does her job well, due to her excellent memory and analytical mind. She prioritizes efficiency at her work. She also eschews the old-fashioned and traditional ways at the police station, like, working overtime or being liked by colleagues. She does have two close female colleagues at the police station. They are Masumi Kira and Iori Motoyama. Masumi Kira works as a physician in the medical office and Iori Motoyama works in the traffic department. Every Friday night, these 3 women gather at an izakaya pub and chat about everything including work and relationships. One Friday night, during the course of their normal conversation, they talk about a case that detectives at the police station are having trouble solving. Since then, they talk about difficult cases and try to solve the cases using their respective talents.

As Snow Man’s first programme in which they served as hosts, it was initially broadcast as a special programme during TBS’s late-night slot. MUSIC STATION (ミュージックステーション) is a popular weekly music variety show that has been on the air since 1986. It airs Fridays at 8pm on TV Asahi and usually has 5-8 J-Pop artists and groups as guests on each show. The two hosts: タモリ (Tamori) and Hironaka Ayaka chat with each artist for a couple minutes before they hit the stage and perform their latest song. The show also runs specials from time to time, along with a yearly 3+ hour (now 4) live performance bonanza around Christmas time called MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE. The show also features Ward E.
