Portrait of a Mexico City neighborhood where pages and pages are printed, and little by little, words appear. Máquinas de Palabras is a performance created in March 2023 in Mexico City, and is the result of a collaboration between Labo K (Rennes-based film laboratory) and LEC (Laboratorio de Cine Experimental) in Mexico City. A portrait of a Mexico City neighborhood where pages and pages are printed. And little by little, words appear... "From the deliberate use of found images to films that make uncompromising use of raw material, the camera and the plants will take our eyes... Pupils will certainly be illuminated by the projector... How can moving images stay in our heads?"
Máquinas de palabras

In the heart of Saint-Malo, there's a gigantic area, covering 1/3 of the city, off-limits to the public. It's a part of the commercial port that's mainly accessible via an architecturally unusual footbridge that limits access. An inaccessible place that will be the first to disappear beneath the waves in a few years' time. Only strange sounds reach us from afar: whirring, construction noise, sirens wailing... This parallel world is bustling day and night. But it's in the depths of the night that unfamiliar sounds and lights arouse the most fantasies.
Englouties

We are somewhere in the north of Spain. After crossing a town, in the rain, at the end of a tunnel, the valley of Solana opens up. The grain and the flickering of the film add a dreamlike quality to the journey that begins in the deserted mountains. For thirty years now, the villages have been emptied of their inhabitants, who were snatched by the towns, as a shepherd tells Emmanuel Piton.
Ăšltimas ondas
Performance for one 16mm projector operated by four hands, with variable-form sound improvisation. Created entirely using 16mm magnetic film perforated with a sewing machine, the live projector operation reveals a broth of original cell cultures, extending to birds traversing the screen.

Atterganger
A couple withdrawn on an island. A deserted island populated by thousands of unsuspected species. Through a reversal of scales and perspectives, scientific chimeras and artistic vanities are gradually swept away. The visible and the invisible meet and discover each other. A poetic and metaphysical redeployment takes place. Fragility and humility are summoned, sketching out a form of resistance to disappearance.
Before Their Eyes
Titan was born from the desire to experiment with the possibilities of screen printing directly on 16 mm film and the possible dialogues with the chemistry of silver film. One bringing the color, the rhythm of a frame and the other the concealment, and the precision of a frame-by-frame construction. The soundtrack is the result of silkscreen printing which also covers the soundtrack of the film. It is remixed and modulated live during the projection.
