Au nom de la loi is a limited-run Quebecois téléroman series on Radio-Canada, seen from September 15, 2005 to November 17, 2005. The series ran for ten episodes, running 50 minutes each episode.

Travel to eight Québec communities that have been forever marked by homicides. Each episode will feature individuals who have been affected by an unusual crime and will try to understand what happened: what motivates an individual to do the horrific deed, to take the life of a stranger, an acquaintance, a friend, a family member?

A psychiatrist tells his story to a police detective investigating a murder. He went to Bulgaria in search of his wife's past and met a beautiful young doctor who introduced him to a patient with amnesia.
