Prokopiy Burtsev

Due to a violent misunderstanding a young member of a criminal syndicate is torn away from familiar grounds of urban underworld and thrown into unwelcoming wilderness of Siberian taiga. Vast and virtually uninhabited, it provides little distinction between past and present, reality and myth. He must face the ghosts of the past and shadows of the present, and rediscover himself and his destiny, however shattering and unwanted it may be.

The film is set hundreds and hundreds of years ago. The viewer will be transported to distant Sakha, where brave warriors will go to the Lower World to save the beautiful Aikuo. What obstacles will our heroes face? Who is the truth behind — a human or a demon? Everything can turn out differently than they say in the legends. Everything is possible, because the boundless North is as unpredictable and mysterious as it is cold and harsh.

During one night in the coldest city on the planet, a man is forced to cross the boundaries of the imaginable in order to save his wife, kidnapped by a mysterious stranger. When a stranger kidnaps a wife, her husband has no choice but to comply with the demands of the kidnapper. The price for the life of a spouse is six people killed before dawn. But who are these six? Do they deserve a harsh sentence? And what boundaries of his conscience is a man willing to cross for the love of his life?
