A high-profile Bengali businessman gets murdered in Puri, leaving more death and the unveiling of many dark secrets in its wake. And when the suspects become targets, family and friends turn into foes in Murder By The Sea.

A retired judge, Mr. Sen, living in a farming colony on the outskirts of Calcutta, contacts Byomkesh Bakshi to investigate an attempt to blackmail him. One day, the judge is found dead under mysterious circumstances, and Byomkesh takes up the case.

Hemanta, a student of filmmaking in New York, returns to Kolkata before his mother is going to marry his uncle after his father's suicide. He receives a series of untraceable texts in riddles arising suspicion on the true nature of his father's death. He starts to lose his conscious self and plans on taking revenge upon the killers.

Byomkesh, a detective, stumbles upon a case of robbery while recuperating from a prolonged illness. With the only object to be stolen being a group photograph, he attempts to solve the mystery.

Byomkesh is called upon for help by police to solve the murder mystery of a wealthy old man Benimadhab and his servant Meghraj. He and Ajit finds the case submerged in crooked intentions of family members.

Set against the backdrop of The Partition, Byomkesh Bakshi and his assistant Ajit must solve the murder of the head of the dysfunctional Halder family.

Finally Bhalobasha depicts three stories that narrate the relationships between people of different age and gender, which is considered as a social taboo in our society. The movie very aesthetically shows how people in such relations go through the test of time by mentally juggling the concept of sin and their need of physical longing that finally transcends into true love.

A host of characters, including Emily (Lillete Dubey), her son Bradly (Clayton Rodgers) and the woman he loves, Anne (Neha Dubey) -- who's stuck in an abusive marriage -- deal with personal struggles and pressure to give up their homes.

This is a story of four friends & school buddies. Out of them, only Ashim is an earning person, he is a doctor. Earlier, they started a Bangla Band, where Hari was the lead singer, but they were heavily thrashed by the public in a stage show in North Bengal. They decided not to sing any more. Then they started a traveling agency. On their first trip, they start the journey with only 9 passengers and a girl who later joins them. The film deals with their journey via Kalimpong. The ten passengers are of ten different types and also the four tour operators are of four different natures. As the journey progresses, their characters were revealed one by one.

Ganesh Talkies is a 2013 Bengali film written and directed by Anjan Dutt. The movie is produced by Reliance Entertainment. It portrays two families of polar opposite Bengali and Marwari communities.

Dutta Vs Dutta is a 2012 Bengali film directed by Anjan Dutt. This is Anjan Dutt's semi-autobiographical film. Most of the film has been shot in a house of Amherst Street in Kolkata. Anjan has described this house resonated feel of his old house of Beniapukur.

Aami Ashbo Phirey is a musical that is about four different stories that are all connected by a violent incident. A young, unknown and unheard singer and songwriter accidentally enters the stories through virtual media and changes their lives for the better. The film re-asserts that art can surpass all differences, violence, intolerance and give them a chance to redeem oneself.

Madly Bangalee is a Bengali rock band that inspires the film’s title. They rehearse in a dowdy garage of Kolkata, owned by Bobby (Lew Hilt), who owns Bobby’s Garage. Four young boys with stardust in their eyes practise their numbers not knowing what they are really aiming at. But the garage is under threat from a South Kolkata don Baburam (Chandan Sen). One morning, an elderly man, San (Anjan Dutt), arrives from "America and Paris." Baaji, (Sumit) the drummer who is a Muslim had to drop out of school. He escapes from the trap of turning a terrorist like his older brother Sultan. He later becomes a police officer who bashes up everyone who tries to bribe him. Neon (Tanaji) plays the rhythm guitar but, sucked into the world of drugs, he disappears from the face of the earth with his guitar. Pablo, lead singer, bass guitarist and lyricist, leaves for the US and the group breaks up. Bobby dies.

Sasanka (Subrata Nandy) grows depressed as his house and his career as a theater actor both crumble around him. When his cold-hearted, widowed sister-in-law Saraju (Aloknanda Dutt) arrives with her adorable young son Kanu (Aniket Sengupta), Sasanka's mood eventually changes. Kanu and Sasanka become fast friends as the youngster benefits from his uncle's wisdom and acting ability.

10 years after The Bong Connection, The Bongs Again is a journey of two young women. Sara, in her 20s, comes to Kolkata from the UK to look for her biological mother. Oli, also in her 20s, goes to London from Kolkata in search of her father who had left her and the family. The story takes us through their journeys, the connections they make, and the pursuit of finding their blood relations. The Bongs Again is fun-filled but with insights which change the way we perceive life. The film depicts today's cosmo Calcuttans and NRI Bengalis, their lifestyle, thinking, and approach towards life.

A tribute to auteur Mrinal Sen, the film intricately weaves the personal and professional journeys of Kunal Sen and Ranjan through their collaboration on an ambitious film project, Chaalchitra, in 1981.
