Based on the autobiography of the same name, The Light from the Second Story Window recounts the story of a naïve young man who goes to Hollywood in search of “fame and fortune,” but winds up working as a two-bit hustler.

New to Hollywood, a young cowboy wants to be a star. He meets an exiled director and the cowboy vows to help him regain his status. However, the Cowboy has to do a thing or two out of the ordinary to raise the budget for the film.
