Biography
Kanza Zia is a Pakistani film producer, director and screenwriter who works in Pakistani film industry. She has educational degrees as well as work experience in the fields of Filmmaking, Mass Communication, Business Management and Project Management. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by Project Management Institute (PMI). Her debut directorial film "Gumm (Lost)", which was released theatrically in Pakistan in 2019, is an internationally acclaimed film which won several awards in international film festivals. In 2021, she co-produced, co-wrote and co-directed a feature film "The Window", which is a collaboration between a Hollywood production house, Three Feather Pictures, and her production house, Starstruck Films. Screenplay of "The Window" is also an award winner in international film festival. On May 10th 2024, her comedy-drama film "Poppay Ki Wedding" was released in cinemas worldwide and it was a commercial success.
