The virtual existence of the "Den-Den" makes it possible for them to do "anything and everything", but it is the opposite of that, the talk is very human. A future in which the earth was destroyed by war and the population plummeted.Anita meets Tony (Jung Hee-chul), a swordsman, as the weak compete for power through violence.Anita asks Tony to help her brother Lee (Siwan) and best friend Jackie (Moon Joon-young) out of a fight between people trying to control the city.

Two people meet on a beach in Isumi. One is Ayaka, who skipped work and arrived at the seaside with no idea where she was going. The other is Nagisa, who was born and raised in the town. Ayaka and Nagisa decide to have a drink together. Ayaka, who has built a career at a Tokyo company, feels comfortable being with Nagisa, despite their differences – Nagisa grew up surrounded by nature and she is free-spirited. Ayaka was planning to skip work for just one day, but she eventually decides to stay on for a while and she requests a leave of absence from her company. Nagisa invites Ayaka to join her at the yakitori restaurant, and together they start an izakaya where the menu changes daily. Ayaka and Nagisa go fishing and enjoy a slow, relaxing life on the beach. One day, Ayaka confesses the incident that became the reason for her absence from work.

In modern-day Tokyo, Hayato and Ami, high school students who are in a relationship, get into a fight over Hayato's lack of commitment to their relationship. After they break up, Hayato gets into a traffic accident and falls into a coma. Ami, who furiously blames herself, suddenly picks up the copy of Victor-Marie Hugo's "The Beautiful Pecopin and the Devil" that was in Hayato's bag, and reads it at Hayato's bedside. As Hayato sleeps, he lives out the adventures of Pecopin from the novel with Ami and other figures from the real world taking the place of the book's characters.

Anri (Anri Sugihara) becomes successful as a gravure idol and she catches the attention of men across the world, but she realizes that she forgot her wish of "I want to be an idol like the blue sea." She wants to take back what she lost, but...
