Biography
Indigenous and Italian-born director William Mazzoleni Valin is recognized for his latest short film Pow-Wow. Inspired by a reality within the First Nations; from Quebec, the short film Pow-Wow is a fiction filled with hope for its culture. This latest short film earned him a selection for "Talent tout court" at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2018, as well as several nominations and awards at other festivals as best short film and Indigenous director.
