The American professional wrestling promotion WWE has been broadcasting PPV events since the 1980s, when its classic "Big Four" events (Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series) were first established with the company's very first PPV being WrestleMania in 1985. The company's PPV lineup expanded to a monthly basis in the mid-1990s following the introduction of the In Your House series of pay-per views before expanding even further in the mid-2000s during the first WWE brand extension. Following WWE's original brand extension in 2002, the company promoted two touring rosters, Raw and SmackDown, representing its television programs, Raw and SmackDown. The traditional "Big Four" continued to showcase the entire roster, while the remaining PPV events alternated between Raw and SmackDown cards. In March 2007, WWE announced that all subsequent PPV events would feature performers from all brands. In 2008, all WWE PPV events began broadcasting in high-definition.

NJPW Dominion 6.9 in Osaka-Jo Hall was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on June 9, 2024, at Osaka-Jo Hall in Osaka, Japan, and was headlined by the Best of the Super Junior 31 Final Match between El Desperado and Taiji Ishimori.

The nineteenth and final night of the tournament, featuring the match to crown the G1 Climax 33 winner, took place at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan on August 13th, 2023.

King of Pro-Wrestling 2024 was a New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) pay-per-view held on October 14, 2024, at Ryōgoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan, headlined by Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

One of WWE's most deadly steel structures is back for another year of destruction as WWE Champion Drew McIntyre defends his title against five other competitors inside the Elimination Chamber. Meanwhile, "The Head of the Table" Roman Reigns will defend his Universal Championship against the winner of a #1 Contender's Elimination Chamber Match on the same night. Also, Bobby Lashley defends his United States Championship against Riddle and John Morrison.

The final stop on the Road to WrestleMania 37 shifts into high gear as Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler take on Bianca Belair & SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks for the Women's Tag Team Championships, Braun Strowman gets his chance at revenge against Shane McMahon, Big E defends his Intercontinental Championship against Apollo Crews, and "The Head of the Table" Roman Reigns faces off with Daniel Bryan for the Universal Championship.

NXT TakeOver: Toronto is an upcoming professional wrestling show in the NXT TakeOver series that will take place on November 19, 2016, at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.The event will be produced by WWE, featuring the NXT brand, and streamed live on the WWE Network.

NJPW Windy City Riot 2022 was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) that took place on April 16, 2022, at the Odeum Expo Center in Villa Park, Illinois, headlined by Jon Moxley vs. Will Ospreay.

Legacy Rise 2026 was a professional wrestling event promoted by Pro Wrestling NOAH, held on May 5, 2026, at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. In the main event, Alpha Wolf defended the GHC National Championship against the legendary "Genius of the Ark" Naomichi Marufuji.

The fifteenth night of the tournament took place on August 8th, 2023 at Yokohama Budokan in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan.
