Biography
Egyptian writer/director Jaylan Auf studied screenwriting in Cairo and the US; she then worked as a producer internationally and as assistant director to Egypt’s most prominent directors. Her second short Turning Ten (2018) won the Amnesty International Film Prize after premiering at Clermont-Ferrand IFF. Recently, she wrote and directed the highly rated podcast series Saqr’s Eclipse.
