Romi, a prostitute, is anything but successful at her job: she is of far too gentle a nature for her clients. The more obstinately she is pushed to the streets by her pimp Franz, the closer she is to a complete breakdown. One day Romi is addressed by a property speculator referring to himself as a "wealthy Jew". He does not demand any sexual services of her. He satisfies himself with Romi telling him stories, for which he lavishly rewards her. However, no one shares the sudden happiness with Romi. Her workmates and current clients turn their backs on her, as does Franz, with whom Romi is in love. The whole story takes place in the setting of a dilapidated city, during the clean-up of which politicians openly split their profit with speculators and lobbyists, all under protection from the police.

Along the way, they meet and help each other with new animal friends from different corners of the world. Will they manage to find the pole and taste the delicious popsicles? After their challenging journey, the sweet-toothed Nedvěd and Miška reminisce about the best moments from the bear series – what it was like when they craved potato pancakes, the first-class deer chef, the unexpected visit from Mojmír the bat, and what happened when they picked all the plums from the animals' orchard. There are also cheerful songs that you won't be able to get out of your head and a recipe for unique homemade ice cream. Nanukům brum!

Bear friends Nedvěd and Miška embark on the craziest adventures together in order to fill their perpetually hungry bellies as easily as possible. You will see how these entertaining furry friends met, how they cook and taste truffles together, how they celebrate Christmas in the summer, which they sleep through every winter, and how they reconcile a bear quarrel. They even have a huge feast waiting for them, where bears from all over the world will arrive.

Edgar’s ordinary life is disrupted by a newborn calf he sees on a tourist trip to a slaughterhouse. He takes it home after finding out that the calf would become a schnitzel. His life is turned upside down when the calf turns into a cow and breaks things he holds dear. Edgar realizes that his decision wasn’t the best and decides to make a radical solution.

The bears want to cook something they've never had before. In a cookbook they find a recipe for truffles – rare mushrooms said to have an indescribable taste; they grow underground and only wild pigs can sniff them out. But the bears are ashamed to seek the help of a boar – they can manage on their own. It turns out that it's all a little different than they thought.
