Millennials experience first love and discover their emerging identities in this teen drama told partly through texts, chats and social media posts.

Set in the multi-ethnic communities on the outskirts of Milan, three teenagers grow up and deal with love, generational conflicts, female emancipation and, above all, power struggles.

Follows Vivien and Roy as their love story continues and leads them to Roy’s childhood home in Sicily to prepare for the sale of the family estate. During the visit, a mysterious woman arrives and befriends Vivien, much to Roy’s displeasure. Tensions build and lines are crossed as secrets from Roy’s past force the couple to face aspects of their relationship they did not know existed.

In the 90s, Isabella was eighteen and a star. 20 years later, she is still singing those same songs in small town bars with her son Bruno, playing guitar. It's because of him that her career stopped. At least it's what she tells herself.

Giancarlo Giannini in his now usual role as the Prince of Soragna, a small town in the lower Po Valley, the starting and ending point of all the adventures in the series, is absorbed by the daily shaving ritual with his family barber, in this case played by the real Prince of Soragna, Diofebo Meli Lupi. A dear friend, the Italian tenor Vittorio Grigólo, arrives breathlessly and asks the Prince, who is half Neapolitan, for advice on the best rendering of the famous song "O Paese d'o Sole" with in the background the version by Roberto Murolo, the unmistakable voice and sophisticated performer of the tradition. The difficulty is obviously not technical for the great tenor but lies in looking for that expressivity and passion in interpretation that has made this musical form, deriving from great Italian melodrama, one of the best loved in the world.

When summer ends, there is always a feeling of loss. A woman embarks on a journey through the memories of her summers past, hoping to find her lost love, or perhaps herself.

Giacomina is twelve, and has been chosen as guardian of Saint Achillea's statue for the annual procession. It would be the most beautiful day for her but her best friend, Silene, is found in a state of a seeming death: her body is still warm. Simone is a young boy who likes to hike among the bushes of the Trieste Karst, in his magical childhood world where he hides to feel free. He is a “ghost” to his peers who know him only for what they see: someone different, labelled by simplistic stereotypes. Sayid, on the other end, is a young migrant, one of the many teenagers who, like ghosts, leave traces on those same paths. These two creatures meet in a magical place and help each other make themselves less invisible in their own eyes, through a short journey through the woods towards the real world. On this journey, the two get to know each other and learn about the other’s fears and passions, realising they are not as different as they seem.

Green-haired Maia is tired of city life and, driven by a desire to be among nature, she decides to spend the summer picking oranges. In the orchards, she is greeted by the gardener, an eccentric loner called Teo, who notices that Maia isn’t like everyone else. In the same way, he tends his plants and devotes his time and energy to her, and the young woman starts to blossom. The lives of Rosario and her mother Maria are turned upside down when they move to a new city. While complex family dynamics intertwine, tearing apart an already precarious balance, the two will have to emancipate themselves from an oppressive father and husband and find the strength to rebuild their identity.
