Five Bulgarian émigrés return to their country by submarine from the Soviet Union. They have to organize the antifascist resistance.

In the trial against Boris, Lazar is the main witness for the prosecution. The two are the comrades-in-arms. Now they are opponents, because of a conflict concerning a coal conveyor where they work. Lazar is afraid of taking risks. Boris, however, is not afraid of taking responsibility where innovation is at stake. The conflict ceases to be confined to production problems and grows into dispute over commitment to principle and ethics. After harrowing hesitations the main witness Lazar gives evidence in Boris's defense.

A Bulgarian crime movie

A young Bulgarian inspector Georgiev is in Warsaw to lead an operation to defraud and capture a Dutch-based gang leader involved in currency crimes. To accomplish this task, he needs to use Jeanne as a "decoy duck". She's Bulgarian, married to a gang member.

Lyubo is an actor in a provincial theater. He prepares for his role of Cirano De Bergerak from the play by Edmond Rostand. This is his dream role. His edge outside the theater is slowed down by the conformity of the artisan-ship. Lily is a pianist. She is taken by her pupils at the musician school. She wants to overcome her stage fright. Lyubo and Lily have never met. They know each other thanks to a wrongly dialed number. The culmination comes, just like in Rostand's play. The two arrange to meet, but Lyubo gets scared and he sends his friend - an unscrupulous boy. The one who gets the victory is not the one Lily loves.
