The Legendary Swordsman is a Singaporean television series adapted from Louis Cha's novel The Smiling, Proud Wanderer. It was first broadcast on TCS-8 in Singapore in 2000.

A series comprising of seven tales adapted from legends, war poems, and Liao Zai's collection from the Qing dynasty. These tales consist of loves stories, comedies and stories with a moral behind it. It deals with the supernatural and the unexplored aspect of life.

Peace Photography Studio is an established but traditional studio founded 80 years ago and had 5 branches in its heyday. Now, there's only a single studio left and is managed by Pan Renyi and daughter Pan Zejia . Pan Zejia quietly helped out at the studio as she feels indebted to Pan Renyi who helped her settle a huge debt 10 years ago, and as a result, she remained single since then. Zhang Tianliang and Zheng Weilong have been close friends since secondary school. Both of them often get themselves into trouble, and ended up being suspended from school. They were forced to be loanshark runners due to the debt Weilong owed, little did they know in the process, they indirectly caused the death of one of the debtor’s wife, Wan An’s mother, thus causing Wan An to bear a grudge against loanshark runners. This drama serial consists of 25 episodes, and was screened on every weekday night at 9:00 pm. The encore is being made from 28 September 2011 to 1 November 2011 at every weekday at 5:30pm. Due to its violent scenes, this drama was not awarded any nominations in acting categories at the Star Awards 2011.
