World War II. Vasil is in serious conflict with the police officer Simeonov and at the same time with his childhood friend and brother by faith - the partisan Kalin. Yana comes between Vasil and Kalin. She has grown up with them and they are both in love with her. She loves Vasil more but she cannot accept his individualism. The tragic struggle in Vasil determines his doom. After the coup on September 9, 1944, he arrests Simeonov, but when he takes him to the military tribune, he dies unexpectedly.

The action takes place during the Second World War. Unexpectedly in a train compartment a fugitive - British captive - appears among the passengers. The human solidarity is stronger than the fear, and they do their best to save him.

A young literature teacher joins an evening technical school where her students - miners, metallurgists, builders and drivers - clash with her literary ideals. To understand them, she visits their families, workplaces and reads their essays on “The Best Person I Know,” learning their hidden struggles and reexamining her own moral judgments.

In order to shorten the completion period of a new work area, the director promises that he will organize a grand concert of famous opera singers at the opening of the new hall. There is an unexpected problem - there is no grand piano. The brigadier sends one of his workers to look for the instrument in the town. He finds himself in a very mysterious new world. After a series of comic situations, he manages to find the grand piano. The grand piano is in the production hall. The order of the day is completed, but is that enough?

The film is based on the conflict between the Monarch of Bulgaria -Tsar Boris III and general Vladimir Zaimov during the Second World War and discusses different understandings about heroism and self-sacrifice.
