The main characters are five young girls who follow each other's lives on a social network. Veronica suffers from complexes due to excess weight, Ira is looking for true love, Olya is going through a crisis in family relations, Alyona is focused on creative realization, which is hindered by her husband, Dasha selflessly helps others, forgetting about herself. The desire to make their lives better leads them to the online marathon "Happiness is you!", which was launched by the psychology guru. But happiness is individual for each person, and universal advice does not always work.

The story is about five Moscow friends: Ole − a punchy girl from the province; Ira − suffering after breaking up a relationship with another guy; Veronica − a kind and cheerful girl struggling with excess weight all her life; Alyona − a young mother who loves her son, but really misses work; Katya − in love with a married man. According to the plot, the girls observe what is happening in the lives of their friends through Instagram, and begin to adjust their lives to what they see in the feed.

After her release from prison, Katerina tries to start a new life. After some unsuccessful attempts to find a job, she manages to find work washing dishes in a children’s home. The youngest and most problematic child, Vanya, decides that Katerina is his real mother.

Most of us say the word "Mama" without thinking. But there are children who have never uttered this word in their lives. The film is about these children, orphans. In these children, no less love than in each of us. And they are waiting. Sometimes too long. But they never cease to believe for a second that one day they will be able to say this simple word.
