A naive village girl, Ani (Ayu Azhari), takes a job in a karaoke club in the city after meeting Susana (Yurike Prastica). Together, they set up a small business selling ready-made clothes. Robert refuses to give up. He sends some men to beat up Rudy, and even assigns Susana to try to break up Rudy and Ani. As usual, this comedy featuring Dono, Kasino and Indro is more driven by a series of comedic skits than a unified storyline. This story, built around the three comedians, also features two beautiful young women, Linda (Sally Marcelina) and Christin (Nurul Arifin), who have been talked into moving from their dormitory to stay with the trio at their house. Linda is Kasino’s girlfriend, while Christin is dating Indro. Initially this comedy depicts the three friends appearing on a television program. Then the producer, who promises them more screen time, talks them into judging a beach beauty contest, so the film setting jumps to the beach. While there, the potential beauty queens attempt to seduce the three men. Linda and Christin, who are very angry at this, plan revenge against the three friends. The film then moves to an island where a film shoot is going on.

Dewi, who has many love problems with her boyfriends, falls into the arms of Dayan, her boss, who also has a problem after becoming a successful businessman. Being told by his doctor that he has only a few months left to live, he suddenly feels the emptiness at home. His wife, Anneke, has her own occupation. His two children are studying abroad, while the youngest rarely sleeps at home and eventually dies while playing Russian roulette. Dayan and Dewi find a mutual need to release the burden. The situation changes with the appearance of Ferico, an old school friend of Dewi, who continues to pursue her after his divorce. Both Dayan and Dewi finally return to their partners. Director Arifin chooses a “poetic” style of telling the story so that the storyline follows the internal conflicts of the characters. The poetry is also characterized by slick photography.
