Mimi’s parents forbid her to have a relationship with Tibor as she is going to be married. When she enters university, Mimi meets a senior who happens to be Yos. At first, Mimi doesn’t know her parents’ plan for Yos to be her future husband. But then she notices her family’s kind attitude towards Yos. Then her sister tells her who Yos is. Mimi does not expect this and she declares her break up with Yos. She refuses arranged marriage eventhough Yos has declared that he sincerely loves her. She tries to get close to another student to forget Yos. Then one day Yos has an accident while rock climbing. From the accident, Mimi realises that Yos is everything to her.
Because his girlfriend Ratri is betrothed to an engineer, Tedo leaves college to find work in Jakarta. In a short time, he becomes a director and marries the daughter of the company owner. But his wife, Siska is an only child, whose mother died during childbirth, and therefore craves attention. His concern for work only enrages her. Siska ends up neglecting her household and turns to drinking. Meanwhile, Tedo meets his old girlfriend, Ratri, who is now a designer and works with the textile company that he runs. Ratri is unmarried and still in love with Tedo but doesn’t want to steal him away. The climax is when Tedo and Siska die in an accident, and in accordance with Tedo’s last wish, Ratri should raise their child.
Iwan, a high school student, loses his bajaj-driver father because the jeep of Dance Lintang, a famous singer, runs him down. Iwan’s pregnant mother has to work hard. Iwan has been singing on the streets for money, and now he gets help from his younger siblings who sell newspapers. Then when his girlfriend Tia yells at him for doing that, he instinctively runs off with his siblings. He is imprisoned as a result but a journalist, Miftah, who knows his talent, bails him out. Iwan decides to quit school and Miftah manages to record him. Dance is furious when he hears that Iwan is making a record. He approaches the producer and destroys the recording tape. Then Dance gets arrested for narcotics while Iwan’s record is a major hit, so he brings his siblings home from the orphanage.
Since her husband is cheating on her with her own sister, Rosnia, who initially intends to kill her husband, accidentally kills her own sister. For that, she is sentenced to eight years jail while pregnant. She is treated by Dr. Herman, who yearns for children but his wife, Dea, is too busy with her career. Meanwhile, Dea achieves her goal of becoming a famous designer. Then Herman chooses Rosnia, however, at the last moment, Dea realises her mistake. She catches up with Herman who brings Rosnia home, and promises to be a good wife. Rosnia holds her child and walks away, leaving Herman and Dea.

Later, the same person rapes his sister. Strangely, Kromodongso does not admit to have raped Cia, although he admits to raping Dono’s mother and sister. Finally, Dono admits that he raped Cia, his own wife. He did that, as he cannot perform in a normal situation. Dono can only do what Kromodongso did to his mother. Cia is happy because Dono is truly a man.

The boyfriend is sent to find her by Mona’s father, but it turns out that the boyfriend has an evil intention; he wants to take control of the wealth of Mona’s family. The adventure in the jungle of Kalimantan becomes the main focus of the film.
