Part concert, part documentary, this film follows the band’s preparations in the re-staging of their acclaimed collaboration So It Goes.. with the artist Liam Gillick and the 12-piece synthesiser orchestra that spectacularly captured the headlines during Manchester International Festival 2017.

Big World Café was a music show on British television. Broadcast on Channel 4 in 1989, it was presented by Mariella Frostrup, Eagle Eye Cherry and Jazzie B. It was produced by Andrea Wonfor, who had previously worked on The Tube. During the programme's second series, Andy Kershaw was recruited to report on world music. Artists who appeared on the show included Les Négresses Vertes, New Order, Prefab Sprout and Wet Wet Wet.

Go back to 1985 for a concert by one of the most influential and acclaimed bands of the era, New Order. The genius of the band's post-punk, electronic, and dance music is on full display in front of an appreciative crowd. Touring in support of Low-Life, this concert was produced for Belgian Television music program, Rox Box.

New Order's first concert in the United States. Recorded at the Hurrah nightclub in New York City on September 26, 1981. It took place just four months after former Joy Division vocalist Ian Curtis took his own life, an event that forced the remaining members to change the group's name to "New Order." This performance captures the band's early days under this new identity, without Gillian Gilbert (keyboards/guitar) and prior to the release of their debut album, "Movement".

With music from Coldplay, The Temper Trap, New Order, indigenous musicians, and commissioned choral pieces, The Earth Wins is a visceral experience celebrating the magnificent diversity of the earth's riches and asking the most important questions of all, "How do we save ourselves from causing the planet's destruction?"
