Berlin - techno, cobblestones and a lot of graffiti. "Berlin Recyclers" portraits the cultural, social and urban fabrics of this city by means of experimental animation. The viewer is guided to urban hideouts where little creatures dwell. These are digitally composed with collected trash and typical local products. The clatter of the limbs of these creatures interacts with the soundscapes of Berlin.
Berlin Recyclers

A fantasy herbarium combining classical and computer animation. The roots, stems and flowers of plants from Western Europe and South Africa twinkle, tickle, intertwine and pulsate against the black background. They create symmetrical paired structures that resemble a grotesque biopanoptic with human organs.
Microphobia

An expedition into rotting animal carcasses and rampant spiderwebs, accompanied by a gloomy drone like a swarm of hungry flies. Foraging around the borderlands of the horror genre in a kaleidoscope of ecology in all its horrifying beauty.
animistica

In subotopic, the viewer’s gaze dives below the water’s surface downwards into ever deeper layers of water. In morphed single-frame switching, bizarre pictorial plants and insect creatures pass by the viewer. One dives into lightless spaces until one penetrates a surface of light again. Diving deeper and deeper, existing parallel worlds are made visible under water and new utopias are created. Above and below, inside and outside dissolve. A dive into a mystical underwater world where reality and utopia meet.
