Microscopic worlds and macroscopic landscapes emerge from the liquid patterns. Together with a pulsating soundtrack, this film creates a sensory and psychedelic experience: a visual journey through mysterious landscapes. This short film is a result of a two-year research on the aesthetics of liquid patterns. By using a mixture of liquid soap and film developer, rich visual patterns were created from the transit moments of when liquid hits the 16mm filmstrip.

The story is about a seed’s voyage in the chaotic universe. It travels through a black hole into a girl’s room and grows into a beautiful fruits. The girl eats the fruit, and it begins to germinate in her heart. A flower comes out of the girl’s body and digests the girl before it returns to the black hole.

Oscillation in Sight is a series of film experiments that opposed the idea of representation and reconstitution of the appearance of motion in the real world. By making her own 16mm camera, the filmmaker can capture images without restrictions such as frame size, gate, speed, and shutters. In Oscillation in Sight #1, we will be gazing at a small transparent piece of plastic on a spinning motor, that appears to be phasing in and out of existence, oscillating between the familiar and distorted visions.

A Sense Of Place is a short film made with scanned images of transparent Adhesive Sticky Tape. The traces, marks, and imprints left on the tape were scanned and animated into a noisy moving image, overlaying with slow-motion footage from a platform from a train station. A mundane moment of time stretched into a poetic space where passenger's figure and movements reveal below the traces of the insignificant sticky tape.

In Pareidolia, analog abstract patterns made on 16mm film are used as source material for finding similar figurative images, interpreted by an online search engine. Hundreds of these matching images were edited into abstract film clips, resulting in an exciting visual and psychological cinematic experience.

Echoes Between Seeing is an ongoing audiovisual experiment which combines 16mm travel footage shot in Spain and China with AI image-to-image processes, creating landscapes where analogue film grain meets fluid, generated forms. The original footage is continuously reprocessed, generating imagery that exists between documentation and hallucination.
