Love has so many shades: love for oneself and for all mankind, parent-child relationships, passion and mania, selfless love and obsession. The ancient Greeks thought about her character and identified eight types of love. Each episode is a story about different facets of one overarching feeling.

Vera has a terrible disease — infertility. Together with her beloved husband Andrey, she goes to a distant secret hermitage, where a certain healer, Father Athanasius, lives. Despite Andrey's skepticism, a miracle happens: Vera is pregnant. But over time, the heroes, unknowingly, find themselves under the influence of a terrible destructive cult, and Andrei must do everything to save his Faith.

Lena Ogurtsova, who is to become Elena Bern, also known as Aunt Lena, is still a modest aspiring writer from a small town, who has been writing her first novel for many years, the publication of which is her only chance for freedom. She tries to break out of an abusive relationship with her husband, but, having found hope for a new life, becomes a victim of her idol.

200 years have passed after The Great War. The remnants of humanity live in the perfect One State. Despite an authoritarian system of serial numbers, uniforms, glass houses, and scheduled sex, happiness and harmony reign in the society.

Two Muscovites go on a trip to Karelia and disappear without a trace in an endless, dense forest. Each attempt to get out turns into a new threat. The forest seems to breathe, watch and does not want to let go... It becomes clear: the Forest lives by its own rules, which there is no time to understand - without food and water, the girls will not last long. In the meantime, one strange family moves into an abandoned village house. Strangers are not welcome here. After all, they used to live in the Forest.
