Zakhar is the head of a big family who spent all his life living in a village in a private house. He is also the only one who refused to sell the land for the construction of a new residential complex. After all, not only his right to private property but also his happy memories are under threat: the old forest he knew since he was little was cut down, and the pond where he used to fish with his father was drained. Moreover, his grandson fell in love with the developer's daughter! While life seems to fall completely apart, Zakhar, together with his family, decides to stand his ground to the very end against urban developers, dissatisfied tenants of the newly built high-rise, and total injustice.
Each episode is a fictional, self-contained story about difficult family relationships.
Moscow, year 1982. Scientist Matvey Pyotrovsky creates a time machine and conducts a scientific experiment, which divides the apartment in two parts. It's first part is left in the 80-s with the professor, while the second one is transported to year 2020 to a modern family: businessman Sergey, his wife Svetlana and daughter Kristina. This kind of coliving creates a lot of trouble for everybody, since layering of two times means each of the families has lost access to the other part of the apartment. But problems don't end there: inventor's grandson Pavel, after waiting for 38 years, tries to prevent one tragic incident.
Nurse Tatyana lives in a quiet provincial town. Everything seems to be going well with her: there is a good job at the hospital and friends who are ready to support at any moment. And then a healthy young woman suddenly falls ill. Doctors make her a disappointing diagnosis - diabetes. Tanya needs to undergo expensive treatment in Moscow. It was in this difficult period for her that the heroine meets a man who is ready to help. He loves her and wants to make her happy. Tatiana begins to believe that the wedding is just around the corner, and her recovery is just a matter of time. But such a successful development of events does not suit Tatyana's best friend, and he begins to plot. Will he succeed in destroying the heroine’s just-settled life and again returning her to the abyss of hopelessness and disbelief in herself?
After another scandal, the son of a Soviet functionary is sent to the organizing committee of the Olympic Games-80 for correction, where he begins to work as a simple volunteer. His boss is the daughter of a high—ranking military man, and she is not going to make any concessions to a spoiled guy from a rich family. Once on the other side of the world event poster, he will meet different people who will change his outlook on life — athletes, coaches and other volunteers. Through their eyes, he will see all the drama around the preparation for the big competition, which was on the verge of collapse.
1980 year. Pre-Olympic Moscow. The MUR people were tasked with preventing a single crime in the capital, clearing the city of all unreliable elements. Even the slaughter department is involved in the execution. Cherkasov and his team are entrusted with the fight against prostitution and "bad luck." But, instead, Ivan Petrovich is forced to investigate one murder after another. In the center of events is a bandit named Skull who recently left the prison. Almost all of the murders committed take place under the Skull, but there is no direct evidence of his involvement in the crimes. It is impossible to prove his guilt, but at the same time his innocence is under great doubt: as if someone invisible constantly saves the Skull from death, clearing the way for him. But who might be interested in this?

From this moment on, the longest day of the outgoing year begins for her: she will pick up the wrong uncle from the airport, meet a man, hide from bandits pursuing her... and on New Year's Eve she will again find herself at her tree, but will she be alone?
The main character is a cute ambitious girl Rita from a provincial town on the Black Sea coast. She decides to break out of the routine of doing local weddings and matinees and arrives to conquer the capital, trying to enroll in a drama school. She is waiting for a lot of difficult tests, which sometimes turn into very funny stories.
