A story about love and its different manifestations, told through the little boy Marcelino in search of his biggest dream: to meet his mother. Inspired by a famous book, the plot takes place in the 1940s.

Everything changes in Fani's life when the opportunity arises to do an exchange program and live in another country for a year. The revealing conversations by phone or MSN and the constant notes during the class turn to another subject: the upcoming trip.

Rosa (Duda Matte) is dedicated to study, Leo (Marcus Bessa) is a good soccer player. She is always on time, he is always late. She hates Julia (Maisa), the most popular girl in high school, he kind of likes her. They are both new students at school and, besides having to learn how to deal with new friends and family problems, they find out that they have much more in common than they thought. Based on the successful book by Thalita Rebouças, they will find that growing up may seem complicated but deep down it's a great adventure.

A former beauty pageant winner dreams that her daughter will follow the family tradition and win a Miss contest. However, she has neither the aptitude nor the interest for it. On the other hand, her son seems to have more talent to claim the sash and crown.
