Playa del Sol is a Swedish comedy, directed by Peter Settman and Leif Lindblom and Jon Holmberg and Kicki Kjellin, which were broadcast on Sundays at 20.00 on SVT 1. The series consists of two seasons, with a total of 25 half-hour episodes. Season 1 aired from 21 January 2007 to 15 April 2007 while season 2 aired from 27 September 2009 to 20 December 2009. Starring Mikael Tornving and Henrik Hjelt. The first episode was seen by over 2.36 million viewers.

Ever since Clint's father Pontus disappeared on Christmas Eve five years ago, Clint has loathed Christmas. But everything changes when a mysterious man appears in his closet and drops a time spy. When Clint tries the binoculars, he sees his father stuck in ancient times. At the same time, strange things begin to happen - Gustav Vasa steps out of the closet, misplaced by 500 years. Now, not only Åsa-Nisse, but the whole Knohult sees their chance to become wealthy! But "Dunderpumpen", as he calles the invention, turns out to be stronger than anyone had imagined, and when shady Scanian oil magnates with support of the Swedish government wants their share of the pie Knohult declares themselves a republic...

In the wild and exotic Indian jungle, there are the classic characters Baloo, Bagheera, Kaa and the dreaded Shere Kahn.
