Meredith Pottsworth, artist of the comic strip Gabby, is at the end of her creative rope. While trying to find inspiration in her work, she witnesses a murder in her own backyard.

After an uncomfortable break up, a couple tries to share their apartment with each other as well as an annoying ghost that appears. Bleeding ceilings, smashed dishes, and non-stop shrieking becomes another thing for the two of them to not talk about.

Jo and the Pirates is a short film about Jo (Joanne), a fourteen year old girl living in her second foster home with two malicious foster siblings, an overworked foster mother, and the foster mother's layabout brother. On Halloween, after protecting her best friend from a neighborhood bully, Jo hides in the woods. She discovers a strange piece of glowing metal that takes her aboard the bridge of a space ship crewed by intergalactic pirates.
