Adam Hills, one of Australia's favourite comedians and winner of Edinburgh's Best of the Fest award, is joined by two team captains, comedian and actor Alan Brough and radio breakfast announcer Myf Warhurst, as well as brave personalities who enjoy having long forgotten embarrassing stories laughed about on national television. Housos is an Australian comedy television series created by Paul Fenech for SBS, that screens on SBS One. Rabbit and Rongo, two dumb but kind-hearted criminals, want to help a young girl get the medical treatment she needs. Inspired by true crimes around the world, they attempt to raise money through a series of dumb plans and hopeless schemes.

Joy Brown (Billie Dean) is a 40-something woman with little confidence, less self-esteem and a burning desire to realise her dream of being a singer/songwriter. But she cant sing. When Joy takes in a stray dog, Raffi, her life immediately changes. Her best friend, the tarot card reading Tessa (Janet Watson Kruse), moves in, Joy changes her name to Luna Starr, and she meets Peter Wolfman (Andrew Einspruch). When Peter encourages her to perform with him at the local pizzerias folk music nights, Joy sings sort of hiding behind masks of wigs and silliness. Despite the singing, Peter and Joys relationship blossoms. But there are lots of hiccups along the way -- ex-wives, ex-husbands, frightening performances, and bucket loads of doubt. Set to the backdrop of the folk music scene in an arty country town, the film celebrates universal themes of friendship, low self-esteem, love relationships, and the joy of dogs.

Benefit is a rock musical about self-belief. Sam is a young man struggling to find his voice as a musician. When his idol, Jon-Jon Gibson dies, Sam feels lost and alone. He resolves to attend Jon-Jon's tribute concert but needs to raise money for a ticket. Sam must decide whether to sell his guitar or risk humiliation by performing.

Performing here in front of a huge crowd at Boggo Road Jail in 1993 (the original line-up of Angry Anderson, Peter Wells, Geordie Leech and Mick Cocks reunited to celebrate the closing of the jail) the band deliver a thumping set of seminal Oz rock, rolling out all their big hits - including Assault & Battery, Tramp, Out of This Place - and a rousing rendition of the Rolling Stones classic Street Fighting Man.
