Martin Hermann (* 1964 in Sulingen, district Diepholz, Lower Saxony) is a German filmmaker. He became known to connoisseurs above all through his three "Apparatspott" films, full-length feature films in Low German, which emerged in the years 1996 to 2008. He is a director, producer, scriptwriter, film music composer, cinematographer and "soul" of the Sulinger Filmemoker - a group of non-commercial film producers who have so far pursued their business mainly for fun. He is also responsible for Film Editing, Visual Effects, Special Effects, Sound Department and Editorial Department. Aliens plundered the beer supplies of Lower German City of Sulingen. But the annual Marksman's fair is imminent and going to fail without beer. Therefore, the Apparatspott is sent. While it takes the captain on the planet Rollrich II, the crew had to face the Aliens.

After the collision of two asteroids, the Apparatspott from Lower German city of Sulingen meets the damaged second-generation Enterprise of Captain Picard. From this the Apparatspott receives the order to get needed spare parts and to set up warning rockfall traffic signs around the collision area. But during the mission, the Apparatspott accidentally destroys an alien beer freighter, resulting in a galactic beer shortage.
